Membership

To become a member of BSD-DK, all you need to do is subscribe to the primary BSD-DK mailinglist. You can do this by writing an e-mail to majordomo@bsd-dk.dk, with and empty subject field and the text:

subscribe "mailinglist name"

Where "mailinglist name" can be one of the following:

• bsd-dk - The primary mailinglist
• devel - The List for development and programming techniques
• bsd-novice - The list for the *BSD newcomers
• announce - Here we announce events
• events - Here we plan events
• jobs - Here firms can announce job offers
• osx - Here we discuss MAC OS X related topics

Membership is free of charge.

If you subscribe to the bsd-dk list, you will automatically be subscribed to the announce list as well. Please follow our netiquette as outlined on the netiquette page when posting to the mailinglist.

We also have an IRC channel on EFnet: #bsd-dk If you need technical assistance immediately, the IRC channel can be a good place to ask for it.
